“Time for tea” project

Print

How often are children involved in discussing children’s issues? Our “Teens in Action” decided not to wait and took advantage of the Time for Tea project, aimed to help young people share their concerns about the society they live in.

Nine boys and girls who know for a fact about the state foster care invited the representatives of the government officials, NGOs and social services for the conversation. During the meeting, they discussed the issue of isolation of children who live in the care institutions from their peers and society. Hopefully, the conversation did not remain just words: we all agreed on the need to report this information to the administrations of comprehensive schools. That is what our teenagers will do in the nearest future, and then they will organize a festival for the talented children from comprehensive and boarding schools.
